Eilertsen & Granados new performance is inspired by the argentinian writer Julio Cortázar´s life and authorship   Julio`s Labyrinths is a showcase where the public looks into Cortázar´s world. Three people (Andreas Eilertsen, Cristina Granados and Ole-Thomas Kolberg) take the audience into Cortázar´s fragmented and marvelous universe. You are not told one story but many, as a trip around the day in 80 worlds, twisting and turning on the seemingly predictable everyday reality. They meet around a table where they begin a journey in which people migrate from grade to grade in Cortázar´s life and writings. It will be given instructions to go up stairs and instructions for crying. We meet them as oppressed citizens of a dictatorship and they are introduced to the real Ceferino Piríz´s suggestions as to how the international community should be organized. We celebrate freedom and victory, music and poetry. The affection Julio had for boxing and jazz are central in this maze of stories you meet.
