Eilertsen & Granados was founded in 2006 by Andreas Eilertsen (Nor) and Cristina Granados (Es). Andreas graduated from drama school in St. Petersburg and is one of the founders of the theater community still existing in Stamsund, Lofoten, Norway. Cristina began her studies on stage in Stamsund under another theater company and has studied art and literature in Spain together with photography. She has worked professionally in theater since 2002.

Our company bases its experience in the expressive physical theater and has extensively studied the connection between live music and theater.

E & G owe much of their inspiration from writers like Julio Cortázar, contemporary jazz and art installations.

The members of the company has worked for several years looking for new ways of expression combining the different disciplines that define contemporary art. Not only as actors and musicians but also integrating other professionals with different artistic resources achieving closer lines between multiple ways of expression.

The ensemble is essential to the creative process. The method of work and research is based on the meeting between the group members. The agreement and conflict in creativity ,without compromise, in order to achieve a maximum ratio, enters the audience and the artists.

Music (composed and performed by  the artists) is also a major element in each of the works and therefore always been a hallmark to the group.

The last production, “Julio´s Labyrinths» is inspired by Julio Cortazar´s life and work. Beside that, the company has three other shows on their repertoire: En Ensom Sneip, Cirkus Granados and Vindel.

In 2007 we formed the jazz project, Eilertsen Band, a concept that mixes performance with the fussion of traditional folk music from the coast of  Norway and   Jazz´s most avant-garde aspects.

Eilertsen & Granados hold the position of artistic directors of Lofoten, a county service that assists local artistic productions. This work is aimed particularly at    young people through national projects such as DUS (young stage)

In 2009 E & G bought the old cinema Stamsund and now runs its business from there

Diego Bonello (Ar) was born in Buenos Aires and has been working as a theater light and sound designer in Argentina, Spain and Norway.

In year 2000 Diego moved to Barcelona and was living there working in different projects. In 2010 he arrived in Stamsund and met E & G Company.
